Creekside Farm is please to offer you the only fully KWPN approved jumping stallion in Canada. Ikoon is a son of the legendary Libero H and is a stallion with both the bloodines and performance record that breeders look for. Libero H http://www.wiemselbach.nl/en/stallions/libero_h/results/ showed in the Nations Cups with Jos Lansik and is by the great Landgraf, one of the founding stallions of the Holsteiner Breed. Ikoon is out of a Nimmerdor mare. Nimmerdor was one of the most influential stallions on the Dutch breed .
Before being imported to Canada in 2001, Ikoon competed in International Show Jumping in Europe with great sucess. This incuded a Nations Cup double clear performance for Holland, a second place finish in the 1999 Dutch National Championships and third in 2000 with rider Leopold van Asten. He was shown in 2002 in Canada with good results proving to be very competitive in both the jumper and hunter rings.
Ikoon is a beautiful model with a wonderful intelligent personality. He is a real gentleman in any thing he does. This stallion is sure to be what all performance horse breeders will be looking for to improve their program. Ikoon has offspring in Holland as well as Canada.
Sport Results in Holland
Ikoon jumped at international level with Leopold van Asten.
- 1999: Double clear in Nations Cup in Norway, Limburg and NK Champion at ZZ level. Reserve Champ Dutch National Jumping Championship.
- 2000: Third at the National Jumping Championship. Ikoon placed several times in his first international Grand Prix competitions.
- 2001: Exported to Canada.
- 2006: Jumping index of 143 (62%).
